Description SHIFT: PRN SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem MedicalCity North Hills Seasonal Program - RN Registered NurseCardiovascular PCU Seasonal PRN Program Runs 8/16/2020 through4/24/2020 $57.00/hour base pay $4,000 Completion Bonus 18week Commitment Weekend and Holiday Requirement Minimum of 72hrs per pay period Completion bonus to be paid after the successfulcompletion of 18 consecutive weeks of employment while meeting allshift requirements during that time period. Only one (1) completionbonus will be paid per 36-week season. All seasonal RNs arerequired to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during theseasonal period. Within a close geography, you may be asked tofloat to another facility that has an emergent staffing need. Four(4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period. Duringthe course of the 18 week period, the employee is required to worktwo (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to firstcall-off. There is no guarantee of hours by the hospital. SeasonalStaff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) andretirement contribution per the PRN policy. Registered Nurses whoare in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass theclinical competency evaluation. Shifts may vary based on the needsof the department. As a PCU RN, you can expect to care for a range of patientssuch as post-cath, CHF, and higher acuity medical/surgical.Responsibilities: Delivers direct patient care according toestablished standards. Implements, maintains, updates, andevaluates individualized plan of care on each assigned patientutilizing knowledge of the developmental needs appropriate to theirage group. Identifies and addresses the patient's familyeducation needs.
